What is Kinetic Chain Release ("KCR")?
Kinetic Chain Release is the miracle protocol in healthcare today! It was founded and developed by Scottish Physiotherapist, Hugh Gilbert. Hugh is a globally recognised leader in the field of physical rehabilitation and has developed this simple but effective system of mobilisations and stretches that brings the body back into balance quickly and easily. It is a gentle, non-invasive and suitable for all ages.
Who Can Benefit from KCR?
Everyone can benefit from a KCR treatment. By following the KCR protocol you can bring the body back into balance, alleviating problems such as weak ankles, knee problems, hip and joint pain, pelvic discomforts, back, shoulder and neck pain, TMJ, and headaches. Energy levels will increase dramatically when the body is in balance.
What can I expect during a KCR treatment?
The KCR treatment is performed with the client fully clothed on a treatment table. Comfortable, loose clothing should be worn to allow for a full range of movement. KCR begins with checking for leg length discrepancy (LLD), we shall then work through a series of mobilisations and stretches to bring the body back to a more balanced state. KCR treatments are carried out at my home studio in Auchendinny, near Penicuik.
How can LLD affect the body's natural balance?
Despite the fact that LLD can exist without any perceivable pain, over time this imbalance can cause the body to over-compensate and lead to a wide range of common complaints and physical conditions. KCR is extremely versatile, simple and effective in treating a wide range of disorders. Some of the conditions helped and often eliminated by KCR are:
-
Chronic Back Pain
-
Fibromyalgia
-
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
-
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
-
